The Pirate Buskers Festival was born from the need to revive the urban areas and from a conception of art as a meeting and exchange between people. In a
like the Italian one, where you're trying to make street art market run by a few agencies / managers,
we felt the need to create a symbolic event managed, organized, financed and promoted by the artists themselves. We live
street art as a free choice.
In the context of Bologna in recent years, which are places of cultural exchange, meeting and entertainment are closed by decision of the municipal policies, we want to send a message colorful and full of life with an event that involves all levels of society and citizenship .
old, children, women and children, students and workers, immigrants or undocumented, you are all welcome here today in the squares and streets of Bologna!
