We were happy the response of citizenship at the event and its success, selling out every night al tendone, la buona partecipazione nelle piazze (sopratutto il sabato e la domenica...) i fusti delle birre tutti esauriti già dalla prima sera...
Nonostante questo festival sia ancora un piccolo bebè (questa era solo la seconda edizione) abbiamo tutte le potenzialità per crescere, ingrandirci e migliorare, per dare vita al primo vero e proprio festival autonomo ed indipendente del circo e del teatro di strada in Italia.
Un ottima occasione per esprimerci, una vetrina "diversa" all'interno della quale qualsiasi artista può mettersi in mostra, una possibilità di aprire una breccia nel "mercato dello spettacolo contemporaneo".
Il Buskers Pirata siete voi, siamo noi, è chiunque want to be part of this project.

HISTORY OF PIRATE BUSKERS
Buskers The Pirate was founded in 2008 by the will of a small group of artists, and Bologna, to create a new event for the city, an event that can involve the whole town with shows rotating around the universe of the circus in the old city. The first edition of the festival is svolta nella giornata di sabato 22 novembre con spettacoli che si sono susseguiti tutto il pomeriggio in piazza S.Stefano in centro a Bologna e la sera con festa e musica ospitati all’interno del centro sociale XM24 di via fioravanti. Alcuni eventi collaterali sono stati svolti alcune giornate prima della stessa a scopo pubblicitario ed alcune settimane dopo.
CHI/COSA è IL BUSKERS PIRATA: buskers pirata come concetto aperto
Buskers Pirata è una manifestazione socio/politica organizzata in maniera autogestita, autonoma e autofinanziata che utilizza l’arma del teatro di strada, di circo e la musica per promuovere un messaggio e denunciare alcune realtà sul piano comunale e nazionale.

Anyone participating in the festival does so in an independent and do not receive any compensation. We work together as self-managed and the whole festival is a self-financed by the artists themselves through small side events, parties and shows on voluntary donations which proceeds are paid to organize the event. We can say that in a sense that citizenship is paying to have the festival in his way! Pirate
Busker has opened an operational concept, which means that anyone can participate in the organization or event by offering the same shows, performances, or even just making themselves available to lend a hand, there are no selections or limitations of any kind, the ' the preserve is to believe, act and then become bearers of a message plurilateral which covers various topics.
MESSAGE BUSKERS PIRATA, THEMES AND OBJECTIVES
In recent years, a false and hypocritical security policy promoted by the Berlusconi government and then implemented throughout the municipality has made us believe that increasing the "control" by the forces of 'order and restrict all the events concerning "noise" to the public peace and order could make cities safer and less violent. We believe it is important to organize the street events, shows and cultural events involving the bands Social "at risk", immigrants, women ... and to foster their integration.
This festival is a sign of 'intention of re-appropriating our city, our urban space and the public. We want a lively and colorful streets full of music, entertainment, events, places and place of meeting and exchange between people, both day and night. More

We want that even in the beautiful country, where negli ultimi anni abbiamo assistito alle più mostruose manipolazioni e scandali nel mondo televisivo e mediatico,
il teatro di strada ed il circo contemporaneo siano valorizzati e supportati, così come lo è maggiormente in Europa.
In Italia chi fa spettacolo di strada, cioè chi, in forma autonoma e su sua libera scelta effettua uno spettacolo “facendo cappello” (chiedere una libera offerta al pubblico) e che quidi, in un certo senso, svolge un’animazione pubblica gratuita ai cittadini, non è assolutamente tutelato dal punto di vista legislativo e assicurativo, e non riceve alcun compenso. Non vi è una vera e propria legge che vieta di potersi esibire, sono sempre però di più municipalities that adopt a line "against the" street art by local directives.

By organizing this festival we want to denounce this system by creating a hole in it, proposing a demonstration organized by the artists themselves, open to all proposals, and making us promoting ourselves of our artistic creations without having to switch between a selection or filtering of any kind.
Busker PIRATE 2009 What's new
After the experience last year and the experience date from the mistakes of the Busker Pirate this year will be extended in two-dimensional space-time taking place mainly in three places in the city on three different days: 13/14/15 November 2009.
Shows and performances will be held in St. Stephen's Square on the afternoon of Friday, the Saturday market in small streets behind Piazza Maggiore, the Sunday workshops and events for children and families in the park of the Railway Labor After being Stalingrad. The Circus Panik company will provide its circus tent for shows, concerts and festivals in Friday and Saturday evenings, and will be mounted inside the park of the former. Tobacco Factory Via Azzo Gardino. Shares artistic side will be carried out in the main streets during the span of three days.
